We have been on charter for the last week or so, however they are very private so no blogging! Here however a Picture of rosehearty Returning to the Old Port in Porto Cervo after a great afternoon sail. Strong sunlight and a "bright sky" to the West portends a Mistral is on the Way..

A quick Sprint up to San Remo. Docked at Portosole to clean up and get ready for the next Charter that starts...Today.... We are off for a month and it will be a lot of Fun..

Great day. Sunny and Warm and after a short lunch and swim we went off for a 5 hour sail. Really pleasant until the wind dropped around 1800 and so we motored in, dropped the sails and took our Berth.. A very pleasant evening and tomorrow we head to Cannes to drop this wonderful Charter group. We really hope we see them again.

From Monaco a motor down the coat to Cannes. but afer a lunch stop in the Beautiful Belieu Bay to the West of Monaco. Tubing behind the Wally was the call and the bow swing... The wind never really filled in but we were hoping. In the evening we were the dock in the old Port of Cannes. We had a few guests leave next morning, Sadly, They were lots of Fun and really Enjoyed the boat. But we had some new guests arrive before we then set off For Mandelieu and Lunch at Anchor..
Well finally the wind died and we managed to get a sail out of St Tropez to Monaco. The principality never disappoints and after a walk, Dinner and a few hours in the Casino it was time to head home and Bed...
Even has the Mistral Sky...A bit disconcerting....

And looking out from the dock! We have to be thankful to be in here...Thats 40 knots out there wind blowing the tops of the waves... Ferrys Still running though!
Well the Mistral has indeed come in and in full force. Yesterday it averaged 40 its and was even hitting 50 last night. Nothing good happens after midnight!! We were snug enough but a 500 ton sailing boat is hard to hold down in a breeze and Rosehearty was itching to Move.. The Crew and guests less so.. Today the 25th July it dropped off somewhat down in the the 30's seemed balmy. Interesting note the water temp dropped dramatically... We did get the Guests away on the Wally to the beach, Jet Skis and Sea Bobs..Nice breezy walks through Town and relaxation. So all seems good. Hopefully tomorrow mid Day off To Monaco..
That is 9 Bow lines on 4 different attachment points..
End of a great Day and after dinner the sun set over in the west, luckily...But it was telling us of wind to come. Which it has. 20 knots westerly over night and the Mistral is sure to follow. Very Happy to be inside the wall, Even at the very outside end. Just Enough lee..

A bit more wind today started at 20 knots. We got underway and went off to...Pamplone. wind was SW so it was flatter sea there today but it started to get gusty after Lunch. Morning was Jet Ski and some Fly board lessons. Afternoon was a sail in 30-32kts of wind. alternating Main and 2 Jib reefs to Main and Staysail. sailing at 14 knots on and off for 3 hours before returning to the dock. Dinner on board, then a beautiful sunset that spoke of the weather to come... and a nice walk through the old town..A good Rosehearty Day
